I now 100% own Bertie, my Smart Fortwo. I was expecting a receipt or something from DaimlerChrysler to say my cheque had been accepted - but no - instead I got a VAT invoice with a contract.list of service agreement payments I'd made only issued upon early termination of the contract.

Nexton the list of things to do

MP3 player, cd holder, cup holder, body panels, number plates & I'm supposed to be saving up!

Now that I own my Smart I believe I must make it different. For the moment it still attracts attention when I stop at traffic lights & some nerds do cross in front of it when all they have to do is wait till I've gone past them. Smarts are becoming more popular in my area as I am seeing more & more of them. In preparation for the time when my car may not be as unique as it was then I MUST do something about making it stand out. If fur fabric & a cheap whip become involved in the job then so be it!

Wait till they've finished altering the place. They are s'posed to be getting a MUCH bigger Smart area, .....so then they'll fill it with flash Merc's....ugh!!

There was a big cement mixer blocking the way also. I hope its sorted out by August as that's when I want the car checking over as I'll have had it a year by then.

How aboutJ1 4TWO , £250 from the DVLA site , not the actual spacing but for 250 notes its worth the gamble ;)

Yes, I have seen those very expensive ones! IfI had that much money I'd be spending iton a very cool car.

Having looked on the DVLA website it looks like there's quite a bit of hassle with paper work involved in transferring registration no's though.
