this has probably bin covered when the budget first came out but ive just realised that Puddlejumper doesnt fall into the new brackets as hes too old which means i still have to pay £110 a year for him

just wondered who else is having this problem ????????? :(

Wish my roadie was £40, it falls just outside the carbon emissions bracket and i have to pay £100, ah well, still cheaper than it was...

Well I got RAZZ for many reasons, one being not paying £187.00 (I think) tax for the bus I've just sold, Seat Alhambra 2.0. So £110.00 (forfour) for getting RAZZ on the road is just great.:D

The Viper too is too old to qualify for cheaper tax.
But a cost I am more than happy to bear - :rotate: :D ;)

Me and kev are still going to be £40, our emissions are 118g/km so we are in the £40 bracket. you should be too PJ.

If you were £75 last year than you should get it for £40.

Older cars (pre March 2001) are taxed depending on engine size, the Smart fits in the £110 bracket. This is because there are only 2 rates: < 1549cc and > 1549cc!

Newer cars (after March 2001) are taxed on emissions, hence the £40.
