Hi All
We have a driver's side headlamp that needs replacing. Taken a look, took out the front luggage 'well' but couldn't get to the bulb holder. Tried to take off the headlamp cowling by undoing the 2 torq bolts but to no avail.
Anyone had to do this yet please?:?

Yes it is easy
Well I thought so!
Remove rubber cover - it pulls off easy
Squeeze metal prongs together extract blub
fit new blub in holder using wrapping blub is in to save getting skin oils on blub glass
Reverse the bits you did before
to remove cowling after removing torx screws you need to pull it from the top forwards and down in a curved motion - you need to be firm

Mission accomplished! Thanks guys, I just wasn't sure how much I could pull on the panel to free it, having undone the 2 screws. Once I got the panel off it freed up more room to replace the bulb.
The bulb was damned expensive - £8.99! I am going to do a search online for a cheaper sourcefor the future.
I wonder if anyone is going to produce a manual for the Roadster?

Had a search for cheaper bulbs on the Net. Good old EBay won again! £8.49 for 2 blue tint HID H7 Xenon headlamp bulbs - that includes P&P. So in other words, less than half the price of Halfords, and for superior bulbs.
