As pinger says, I like the idea of EVs but I have a large twin axle caravan that I want to tow without stopping to charge every other services .... plus they're expensive (I know the Tesla Model X...
I asked this question to a mate who works for Nest west Electric .... the grid could, at the moment supply the power needed, it's just as you suggest though, the local infrastructure just would not...
But if/when we all have an EV and you are 5th or 6th in the queue for the charger, you might have time for a lot more than a toilet break & a brew. At the moment, if you were 6th in the queue for a...
:D An easy fix then
I have a 14 plate 451 turbo with flappy paddles. On my way home from work this evening, I was playing ..... drove in AUTO then changed gear by flappy paddle. Normally I would press the button on the...

A fan is unlikely to run on the motorway any way, as there'll be enough air flow over/through radiator due to the car moving. If a car is overheating on the motorway, I'd suggest that either the stat...

The battery is under the driver's seat (as it is on my ML now). Removal of the seat just made it far easier to get to the battery to remove it, though some say it's possible to remove the battery...
It reset the airbag/SRS on my R Class when the seat was removed to access the battery so if it's to reset the airbag on your car after similar I can't think why not.
PS the link I posted was the...
You could always buy one of these .......

It must be the angle of dangle then as the line top of the flat facing us looks to be going from low left to high right ie twisted clockwise
The bolt looks like someone has been swinging off it to tighten it. Even using rack o' th'eye you can see some twisting to the flats.
