If it's the Pioneer AVIC-F310BT, then yes there are updates, but the product is now listed as legacy.

I think Pioneer sell updated maps for the device, bit pricey though!...

I'm consistently getting 70+MPG. 2010 CDI Passion fitted with the wider Pulse wheels.
A roads and dual carriageways are kept to 1800-2000RPM.
Motorways 2500-2700RPM.
It's not all about the speed ;)
