451 Fortwo - List of Quirks

So, after Tony's new find about the locks, I thought i'd list some of the strange things the new 451 Fortwo does for new members! Feel free to add any I miss out or don't know about. These aren't faults, just quirks! For faults, look here

    1. Some (09MY I think) remember which gear mode you were in at start up from when you last switch the car off

    2. On some, the stereo always switches on at start up

    3. On some (pre 09MY), directing the air flow to the windscreen turns on the aircon, even though the aircon light doesnt come on

    4. If your car has been deadlocked (by double pressing the lock button) and you open the boot on the coupe with the key, after you have closed it, you will be able to open the boot via the button on the lower door.

Yes, you hear a click which sounds different to the normal locking.

well then , I'm not certain that you'd have to deadlock it to activate it, it should activate on a standard lock up of the car

But , really deadlocking is the very much recomended way of locking it , without a key that door 'ain't going nowhere'
