Thread: Traction control - OFF - 451

    Ive just tried it, managed to press both buttons with my piano fingers. It does not work in my petrol 451. Its been snowing in Barnsley so was able to test it immediately, the esp kicked straight in with the flashing triangle on dash. Shame as that would of saved me removing the fuse to disable it.

    See mine was on this evening, and I managed to slide my way out of the gravely car park at work without it kicking in! Maybe mine is faulty lol, not compaining though cos I like the little slips, wouldn't know if the ABS works though, not needed it once since getting stuey

    It certainly works on the 451 CDi, I watched it being done when having my Cdi remapped.
    Both adjusting buttons are held down together which eventually deactivates the traction control.

    Yes it can, remove fuse 11 with the engine off.

    On the 451 Diesel no traction control (via the double button way) means no esp no abs so lots of tyre screeching and smoke! Also means the handling turns sh1te! No hard cornering etc!

    It's a worry that spammers are getting that sneaky. They can ask a question related to the topic in perfect English!
    When they start answering questions well, that's when spammers will be allowed on the sites.
