It's electrical and although it can be for many different reasons, chances are it's the battery.

Try this if you haven't got any jump leads:

    Hope you get it going.

Could be down to the battery, hard to tell unless you've got the battery charged. Come back and let us know

tried that . Battery is so flat though might take a look at the fuses . One thing i would say is that my tacho was playing up and has started to read at limiting to 5 k but still reaches the same speeds as if it were at 6k i think the needle just jumped back . But i dont think this would of effected it

Eh?? Tacho?? If you've got problems with your speedo, then it's almost definately related to your one bar problem.

Charge the battery up first before you investigate fuses. If the battery is flat, it will cause the one bar problem.

    Tacho is rev counter.

When you get the car started, leave it awhile then post what it idles at. If it's moved, you can tell from that.

Nah it shouldn't effect it. If you idle the car with the needle off then you know to put it at 900ish revs. Are you going to bump start your car or have you got jump leads?

don't put the needle back on whilst running you might mess up the receiver in the pod as it's electronic,do it with the engine off and set it at zero
