Smile Iphone Cradle / Base to fit Smart Car, Does anyone have this one in link?

I have been looking for a cradle/holder to fit my iphone. I've got a windscreen sucker one but was just wondering if there was anything specific for the smart car. I have seen this one...

    http://www.smartsrus.com/acatalog/Ro..._Sounds_5.html

I emailed them to ask how it fits etc but have had no reply. Does anyone have this one? Just wondering how it fits on and would my iphone fit on it?

    Thanks in advance x

I got some good advice, its better to get a holder that only holds the phone and get a charger that plugs in alone at the bottom. The holder and charger combined cause the charger port in the Iphone to come loose and stop charging due to the lovely potholes

I've just taken delivery of a 2011 Smart Pulse and love it. I had hoped to use the Smart iPhone cradle, but it only available in LHD and cost somewhere in the region of 200 Euros! So I opted for a Smart cup holder (25), which fits to the floor in front of the gear stick, and then got an Arkon IPM523-G, which fits into the cup holder. It works just brilliantly and is close enough to the charger to avoid trailing wires. Please see the links below to help you out with what I am talking out. If you want to see a picture of my set up, then please let me know.

    Thanks for the replys.

To be honest i dont want to be able to charge it or to link it up to play my music - So im not bothered about leads/wires charging plugs etc. I just want a really nice holder/cradle that fits my iphone and as mentioned before not one that is stuck to the windscreen lol

I will have a look at the brodit proclip - Never heard of that one

Smartie42 - Would like to see a photo actually as i have seen the cup holder phone stand things, just wondered wether that would be too low down? Also i dont have a cup holder lol Bidding on one on Ebay at the moment though lol

So no one knows how the one in my link above works? I just like that it matches the dash and it is made for the smart car, but cant see how the phone would stay on that square base.

Is this what you mean for the brodit proclip http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BRODIT-PROCLIP...ht_1164wt_1141

On Ebay they seem to be specific to which car you have, cant find any for smart car. How do they attach?

I bought quite a few craddle for iphone... I currently have a Gear Craddle which allows to stream music and GPS on the radio which is brilliant.
It's a Gear Click here... The only downside is you can't open the storage under the radio (I own a 450)...
The great thing is that whilst streaming your music on the radio, it also displays the title of the song on the RDS screen of the Smartie !

I also have another craddle which I used to fix on the panoramic roof !

Basically the RTR mount is simply a piece of plastic onto which you can glue/screw/sticky-pad attach your chosen mount.
I have something similar in our smax - where we have the brodit clip, and do it I have attached one of these:

Right so for the brodit clip its basically the right shape/size for you to attach a mount to... which you clip your phone into? It sounds like its going to end up looking ugly with a mount stuck to the plastic lol Im needing serious help here! Could i see a pic of yours?

Also - Hubes... you had one attached to your roof ?!?! lol
