Someone has revived this old thread from last year. Bahnstormer most likely has had it fixed quite a while ago.

Hi Tolsen.
Dick Maxwell (formerly of Watson Mews) how are you? I have moved to Ibiza finally. I left my roadster here with the windows open in a rain storm the other day and have soaked up at least a gallon of water with towels under and behind the seats. In the heat here the car is drying out fine, but after the car initially starting without issue it has now developed a problem in that the key will not turn in the ignition. My question: is there an electric component that could be water damaged that's stopping the key turning. All the best in Banchory cheers dick
Water caused the metal in the barrel to rust & seize.
