Question Car idling at just under 2k revs at cold starts....is this normal?

    Hey,

I have a 06 Brabus Fortwo and when i start my car when the engine is cold it revs at just under 2k revs for about a minute then drops to just over 1k, which i thought was normal :-/

I recently used my mates 03 Brabus and it doesnt do this, so i was wondering if this is normal? or what could it be?

Yours is normal, your mate's must have been slightly warm already.

Normal - if you blip the throttle it normally comes down.

Mine used to come down after about 15-20secs
