    Exclamation headlight bulb clip, spring clip,retaining clip

    Hi ive recently bought a Hid kit only to realise ive lost my spring clips that hold the headlight bulbs! does any1 know where i can buy (spring clips) for my H7 headlight bulbs??? ive searched all over on ebay and amazon but no luck.

    ps. will it b okay to fit the HiD kit without the clips?

    You can only get then from a scrap yard i am afraid. I personally would not use my car if I didn't have them fitted.

    no - the bulbs will not stay in place.

    i won't ask how you lost them but are you sure they are not just on the unit still as they should just remain connected to the lamp unit as you can see from the pics....





    these are not a part you can buy on their own.

    try chequered flag or someone like digitec/wellsmart (sorry kate - forgot what you are called now)

    daytime driving only i'm afraid...

    Not true. You can buy these from smart.
    The projector inside is exactly the same unit used in the 451 which you can buy headlight clips for.

    Dare I raise the thorny issue of HID legality.... (i.e. they're not)?

    Not really worth kicking up about HID legality. Outputs from a projector headlight are generally very good. I think common sense should dictate this one.

    Sorry I was just going on info I had been given. Just proves that you know more about smart parts than the average local dealer does then
