    Great guide !

I know this was a while ago but.
I am just about to do mine and I have got the htec ones to.
Did you have any noises that made you change them or did you just do it as an upgrade.
I have a slight knock when going over bumpy roads that sounds like the drop links, but I have fitted new drop links and bushes and top mounts so the ARB bushes are next. I had a quick look and on the drivers side the ARB looks really close to the power steering motor and it looks as if it has been knocking on it as there is a small area of chipped paint on it. Can you remember how close the ARB is to the motor as mine you can't even get a finger between them, so wondering if mine has maybe moved across and is knocking when going over bumpy roads.

    Cheers Dave

Cheers for the reply, I am going to do them tomorrow so hopefully it will cure the knock, it's nothing major more annoying than anything else.

Change to polyurethane bushes if more vibration and squeaky loud ride is what you prefer. Stay with rubber if you prefer comfort.

No one I know who has fitted the polly bushes has had those probs

    I certainly haven't

There have been no -ve effects from fitting - only +ve

These aren't like the rock solid plastic ones. They are more defo like a more dense rubber

If same hardness as original rubber bushes, what is then the point by fitting these expensive and substandard poly bushes?

Where did I say they were the same softness

Where does it say they are substandard in what application?

Where are you coming from on this one?
