How do I get the inside door panel off.?
Had a quick look and not obvious compared to other cars I've had.
Also you need to give the handle a big tug to open the door so think the cable from the handle to the lock needs adjusting or replacing especially if filled with water and gone rusty). So would do it at the same time.

Do not understand how you are getting so much dirt inside the door on quite a new car, enough to block the drain hoes?

Ok, with windows on the doors there is always a gap to let rain water in, but you need dirt to get mud to jamb the holes up.

As you say you need the door card off to see the problem, and drill additional holes where the water is lying.

It is a 2004 Forfour now 12 years old. OP has posted in wrong section. The cure is still cleaning the bilges.

Evilution.co.uk or FQ101.co.uk will tell you how to take off the outside door cover - inside one is the main casting. Do it on a warm day unless you want things to end in tears.

There info about door panel removal on those sites. Google Smart 454 door panel removal instead.
