Water in drives side door

My wife's 2004 Forfour has water in her drives side door.
You can hear it swooshing around so quite a lot in it.
I found the drain holes underneath and pushed a piece of metal coat hanger in to try and clear them out.
Some water came out but not a lot. There is still the sound of a lot more inside.
Is there something else I can do. Do I need to take the door skin off to fix, or can I just drill a small hole on the underside somewhere?

I believe drilling a couple more drain holes with a small drill bit should help in this regard (I'd probably do it near the existing ones) but to get any mud/rubbish out of the door would require the panel to come off (which ultimately would be more beneficial in the long run I would think).

I didn't spot he had water pooled up top presently, my bad.

Run bilge pumps first. Could even make one of them start automatically!!y on high high water level.
