Methanol at 10%

Just testing waters here. Heard loads of good stuff and few bad stuff but want to hear from smart people. Anyone did run or still does a methanol mixed with fuel in their cars? 1:10 ratio...

Where do you intend to tank up with methanol? Brazil or Sweden?

20l for about £30 makes it more expensive than running 100% petrol.
I thought the purpose of running methanol was to lower costs?

Petrol has 136% higher specific energy than methanol so you'll be driving like a granny.

I would go for ethanol and fit a separate tank. Useful for parties and you can have a dram whenever you want one.

10% Methanol with petrol (3 ltr Methanol/30ltr petrol) is loads of fun!
Drive almost 2 years with this mixure.
