    convertible roof

Hi guys was looking at a convertible 02 plate today that is for sale at a local independent dealer. However the back window has a patch in the centre as it has a tear in it. So what's the best option here. Can the window be replaced without it looking a botch job or does it require a new roof. And will it cost a fortune?

    Another roof query:

My car is suffering from the usual roof click/slip when using the motors, although it still just about works with some manual assistance.

Is the only option to fork out 250 for a pair of drive mechanisms?

So this car Im looking at has brabus wheels but not not sure it is.( Dealer says it is ) when I looked up the reg on auto trader it says ''MCC SMART PASSION SOFTOUCH(RH 2002''. are there any tell tales on the car I should look for? It has the Brabus type exhaust and bumper but the front bumper and side skirts have the black rubber trim at the bottom that I thought the Brabus didn't have.

    Got a link handy?

TBH, anyone can fit a set of Brabus wheels or Brabus bits onto a Smart to try and pass it off as one. The speedometer is differently timed to the standard one however and the VIN has its own pattern so you could just get the VIN number and and see what it comes back as.
