    Dog anchor point.

Has anyone found a method of attaching a restraint point for a dog harness in the boot of a 451? Our little dog gets upset on the lap of a passenger and we want him safe and comfortable in his bed in the back.

I seem to remember there are some bodyshell fixings under the carpet (with partial let-in's in the carpet itself) ?

Lift carpet panel and take a goose down there
You're so money supermarket and you don't even know it!

Is there that much room in the back of a Fortwo for a fido to move around unrestrained? Molly only goes in mine for 1/4 a mile or so down the road for her walkies but sits in the passenger foot well. I've tried her in the 'boot' but she refused to go in.

is it not better to get a dog cage?

the space in the boot is too small to warrant anchoring your dog - you would need 4 anchors to stop the dog hitting anything

you anchor the dog to the seatbelt in a standard car so that it doesn't end up through the windscreen or worse in the back of your head

    i'd look at something like...
