I have a similar experience. Had my Mercedes serviced by Aberdeen dealer, was J R Wears at the time. They filled my washer tank with brake fluid. Got white liquid all over the wind shield. The service bill confirmed it was brake fluid as they had charged me for two litres of it.

The Smart spark plug cap removal tool is the same one used for various VWs/Skodas etc. so it would be a particularly crap garage that didn't have one.

The washer tank will hold that much perhaps more and that is where they had put the two litres of brake fluid.
