    Paddle shift

Does anyone have any pictures of the internals of the paddle part. My car has a problem in that if I use the lower part of the shift down paddle it will sometimes not change and will store an "implausible data" fault code. It always works if I use the top part and mostly works using the bottom but occasionally it strands me in too high a gear.

    No Evilution links please.

I suspect the 451 just has very crude switches just like the 450. I put Vaseline in minr and have had no more trouble with them.

    No pics?

Are they the small tactile switches, PCB mounted?

That's an odd one.. have you removed the paddle yet? takes literally a minute two screws and one connector. I had mine off recently to do my steering wheel trim but can't remember how much you can actually see.

    That's why I'm asking.

I haven't removed anything, it scares me does that clock spring bad of dung that they saw fit to put in there.
