    I did have a valid reason for being in Victor Meldrew mode.

    I got a replacement phone but it needed a nano sim so off to Vodafone for a new sim that would fit. They insisted on fitting it to the phone and broke the sim contacts on the phone motherbaord so the phone didn't recognise any sim when they had finished.
