''back in a Roadster '' is a bit of a clue!
It's morning - I take a few hours to properly wake up.

Hi everyone. Like Steve, who I've known for years now, I also miss the cars and the people. I'm quite excited about the prospect of the new EQs with the extended electric range. Since stopping driving my roadster, I have a Nissan Leaf and love driving electrically. The current smart EVs have poor range, but the new ones, apparently, will be much, much better from reports I've read online.

My years with the smart crowd, starting with SmartManiacs and ending up here, were some of the best years of my life. There was always somewhere to go, something to do, or someone to meet up with. I miss all of that and even now I still hanker after another smart. I don't think I'll get a roadie now though, especially since we are both older and Tony, my hubby, was always moaning about how he had to fold himself in half just to get in it! The other thing that doesn't help is that Facebook seems to have sucked the life out of these old V Bulletin forums. If only we could go back to using them properly again like in the good old days.

Steve, we really must get together soon, as we are not really that far away anymore, especially with me having moved northwards in recent years.

    Dave

This thread has made me look for one, I'm really tempted!

    Any thoughts about this one?
