You've seen it now - but no sign of the FR button as you had. I guess that puts a kybosh on me recording data.

I think now I know what the problem is.

Have just installed 2017 version of Delphi and AutoCom Cars and Trucks.
Can save Flight Recorder template to multiplexer and record session but Flight Recorder crashes when uploading session.
A workaround is uploading session with the 2014 version of Delphi Cars or Trucks.

I prefer a handheld scanner when viewing life data on a vehicle moving along roads. Have in the past used Delphi and small inverter to power laptop but now nearly only the handheld scanner.

My Delphi is very unstable with the engine running. Fine when it isn't but crashes within a minute or so with engine running. Given up and trying to capture (or even read) data from a running engine. I do at least have another system for the LPG that lets me monitor fuelling that is stable.
Wonder if you are aware of the built in light in the Delphi plug?
Makes it easier to plug into the diagnostics port in the dark. The light is battery powered and uses a small coin cell battery.

I am now!
I'd never noticed that before (or the rec button). My light at least works - but won't be of much use as my OBD port isn't actually visible from the driver's seat.
