    Smartz gold star award

I would like to start a gold star award scheme for all you Smartz people out there.

It’s easy; these little fellas will be given out when someone does something that truly is above and beyond.
An act of total kindness and at no personal gain.
And to top it off you have to be nominated by someone before you receive it.
These will not be given out like toffee and should be worn in your signature if presented with one.

I have been part of one of these schemes on other forums and its a real good way for newbie people to get really good info from “lifers”
It also encourages people do acts of kindness
Let me know what you think and if you want to pick the idea up.

I would like it to be called the "Brabus Gold Award"

Having a smart is only the beginning, so why not join in with the community?

Its bettr than a rep system, you really have to earn them, and it then has to be agreed by a mod or other.

you can get more than one.

    all you do is put

HOLDER OF 6 BGA's and the image below.

takes up little space in your sig, and gives new people a good idea as to who is going to be giving good advise.

we use this on one of our RC heli forums and it works really well.

people help newbies out loads just so they get nominated.

you cant ask for one, you have to be awarded it (think I may have made that point)

it can be gereral, but in the case of that thread, if someone had offered to come to my house with or let me borrow a dog (bad example but you get the idea) this would have been seen as going above and beyond in the name of the forum.

sounds good. I'm just asking questions as I'll probably be the one dealing with it. If a newbie wants to give a star, how would they do so?

you tend to get fuller and better answers to questions, less one word answers, things like that.
but dont want to force it on ya, if it aint for you thats cool.
